WILLIAM CLAYTON BATCHELOR

Clay Batchelor grew up in Central Florida. He obtained his undergraduate degree in architecture from the University of Virginia, and his law degree from William and Mary School of Law in 1995. After finishing law school, Mr. Batchelor began his career as an associate with Donald Wright, with whom he joined as partner in 1998. Mr. Batchelor is a member of the Bar in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. He spends most weekends in Sperryville, Virginia.

THOMAS CRAIG BATCHELOR

Craig Batchelor earned his undergraduate degree in philosophy from the College of William and Mary in 2003, and his law degree from the University of the District of Columbia School of Law in 2008. Craig began his training in estate planning and tax work by working at Wright & Batchelor during and for a short time after law school. After ten years of practice out of state, he re-joined Wright & Batchelor in 2019. Craig is licensed in the District of Columbia and Virginia.

DONALD LEWIS WRIGHT (1949-2016)

Donald Wright completed his undergraduate degree at Michigan State University and received his J.D. from George Washington University School of Law. Mr. Wright began his legal career at the former Williams, Myers and Quiggle, and quickly became a partner of that firm. Mr. Wright left Williams, Myers and Quiggle to start his own practice in 1981. In 1998, he established the current firm with Mr. Batchelor. Mr. Wright passed away in November, 2016.
