WRIGHT & BATCHELOR, LLP is a small law practice specializing in estate planning and administration, and income and estate tax matters. The firm originated in 1998 in the District of Columbia, and serves clients around the globe.
Our services range from simple wills and tax preparation, to complex multi-generational estate and tax planning. Whatever your needs, we pride ourselves on the personal attention we provide to each client.
DONALD LEWIS WRIGHT Donald Wright grew up in Michigan. He completed his undergraduate degree at Michigan State University and received his J.D. from George Washington University School of Law. Mr. Wright began his legal career at the former Williams, Myers and Quiggle, and quickly became a partner of that firm. Mr. Wright left Williams, Myers and Quiggle to start his own practice in 1981. In 1998, he established the current firm with Mr. Batchelor. Mr. Wright is a member of the District of Columbia Bar.

WILLIAM CLAYTON BATCHELOR Clay Batchelor grew up in Central Florida. He obtained his undergraduate degree in architecture from the University of Virginia, and his law degree from William and Mary School of Law in 1995. After finishing law school, Mr. Batchelor began his career as an associate with Donald Wright, with whom he joined as partner in 1998. Mr. Batchelor is a member of the Bar in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.

THOMAS CRAIG BATCHELOR Craig Batchelor also grew up in Central Florida. He obtained his undergraduate degree in philosophy from the College of William and Mary and his law degree from the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law. Mr. Batchelor began his career as an associate with Wright & Batchelor, LLP in 2008. Mr. Batchelor is a member of the Bar in Virginia.
